Aion 2 Daevanion: how to choose nodes and check available points
Build a connected plan in the calculator, check level requirements and review total bonuses. A two-node Global Cleric example explains path cost and removal of a dependent branch.
Region, class and level
Choose the Global or TW dataset, then a character class and level. Boards and available nodes depend on the dataset. Switching region clears selected nodes and custom point budgets, so review the plan again.
Available points and node paths
Enter your own balance in Available. Its starting value is a client catalog limit, not your character’s balance. The calculator does not read points from your game account. Spending is tracked per point type; boards sharing a currency use the same budget.
Selecting a distant node adds a path from the already connected part of the board. Its cost includes every new node in that path. The selection is rejected when points are insufficient or any new node requires a higher level.
Example: two Global Cleric nodes
Open the example: Global, Cleric, level 45, board #71, with 2 crystals available. The link carries both selected nodes and the point budget. This is a calculator exercise, not a combat build recommendation.
| Node | Row / column | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Attack Bonus · 710098 | 7 / 8 | 1 |
| MP · 710097 | 7 / 7 | 1 |
Result: 2 selected nodes, 2 out of 2 points spent; Attack Bonus +3, MP +50. The starting node is excluded from the selected-node count and consumes no points.
Removing nodes and warnings
- In the example, deselect the node at row 7, column 8. The node at row 7, column 7 loses its connection to the start and is removed too. Total bonuses now shows zero selected nodes.
- Reopen the example and reduce Available from 2 to 1. Selected nodes remain, but an over-budget warning appears. Reducing the budget does not rebuild the plan automatically.
- After changing level, check warnings: selected nodes can remain above the new level requirement. Remove them or restore the required level before sharing.
Common questions
Why can’t I select a node?
Check level, the path from the starting node and spending of the same point type across all boards. The target node’s own cost can be lower than the entire path cost.
Can I reuse this example on TW?
This example is calculated from Global data. Open the TW calculator and choose its nodes again; IDs and parameters can differ between datasets.
Do these bonuses show final DPS?
This view sums values from selected nodes. It does not confirm final combat damage, effect application order or build effectiveness.
