Spiritmaster: Spirit skills and Four Elements

A Spirit using its skill connects several Spiritmaster abilities, but their conditions differ. Dimensional Control is triggered briefly, while Elemental Fusion requires four accumulated elements. This walkthrough separates those Global description rules from the learning requirements checked by the planner.

A Spirit skill and a basic attack are different events

Summon: Fire Spirit summons a Fire Spirit that rushes towards a target within 20m and uses its skill. The Spirit then continues with basic attacks: the description gives a 15% chance to use its skill each time an attack lands.

Keep the two cooldowns separate: the summon card lists 15s, while its description separately gives a 3s Spirit skill cooldown. These values do not guarantee a skill use after a fixed number of attacks or establish an exact time to collect four elements.

What a Spirit skill use enables

Dimensional Control is triggered briefly each time a Spirit uses its skill. Its description specifies a target within 20m, up to four enemies within 4m of that target, Slow on hit and 100 MP restored. It does not give a numerical activation-window duration or resolved Slow strength and duration.

Elemental Fusion uses accumulated elements. Its description specifies the following sequence:

  1. Each time a Spirit uses its skill, the Spiritmaster receives an element.
  2. At four stacks, Four Elements status enables Elemental Fusion.
  3. Additional elements cannot be received while Four Elements is active.
  4. Using Elemental Fusion immediately removes Four Elements status.

Four elements do not mean four Spirit basic attacks. The brief Dimensional Control trigger and Four Elements status are also different conditions. These descriptions do not establish an optimal button order, a complete cycle time or resulting DPS.

Learning requirements: level 13 and 14 example

The example selects two rank 3 skills and rank 1 Elemental Fusion. The table includes the total cost of reaching each selected rank, including preceding ranks.

Ranks and requirements from Global acquisition records

Summon: Fire Spirit342
Dimensional Control3112
Elemental Fusion1140

Total: 4 mastery points and no stigma shards. At character level 13, the planner warns that rank 1 Elemental Fusion requires level 14. Changing to 14 clears the character-level warning while preserving the selected ranks and costs.

This is a learning-requirement exercise, not a finished combat build. The planner does not track the Spirit, element stacks or activation windows; it cannot confirm whether a skill can be used at a particular moment in combat. Unresolved damage variables “…” in the descriptions are not replaced with estimated damage here.
